and wrist comfort
system

FINGERLOCKING SYSTEM

The FINGERLOCKING SYSTEM
will prevent the grip from coming
off the end of the fingers.  Proper
placement of the fingers in the
FINGERLOCKING SYSTEM
ensures good grip and comfort.
They should fit snugly in the grip
past the first knuckle.

PROPER SIZING

To ensure the proper size of your new GS Super Grips, place your fingers into the FINGERLOCKS.  Your finger tips should press against the leather, then slide into the FINGERLOCKS, so that the tips of your fingers extend through the FINGERHOLES.  Place your wrist in the foam wrist support and fasten.  The fingers should fit snugly into the FINGERLOCKS with no discomfort.  Effort to get the fingers in place is normal.  Once in place, GS Super Grips will be much more comfortable than standard grips.

THE FIRST WEEK

For the first week, only use your new grips for the basic swing work to develop a feel for the grips and to break in the leather to fit your hands.  DO NOT start using your GS Super Grips on full routines or high level tricks until they are broken in, and you have a feel for the new design.

Due to the infinite number of different size fingers, if the holes are too snug, here is a hint to make it more comfortable.  Take a round file or sandpaper wrapped around a pencil and work out the holes to a bigger size that is comfortable and won't cut off the circulation of the fingers.  The fingers should fit snug, but comfortable.  The Fingelock system allows more comfort with increased safety that the fingers will stay in the grips.

STRETCHING

GS Super Grips have a high-grade leather palm piece, which keeps stetching to a minimum. Expect some stretching from difficult skills and heavier body weight.  Slight adjustment on the new comfort-soft wrist support will compensate for minimal stretching.

SAFETY FIRST

Inspect your grips for wear or any weakness that will lead to fatigue of the stitching or material.  Liquids on the leather can cause more rapid deterioration.  WARNING: Never wear a weakened, damaged or stretched grip.  Do not alter grips in any manner.  Do not allow any other person to use your grips.  To ignore this warning may result in a fall or injury.  Check with your coach or trainer about fit or condition of your grips.  Leather stretches, always monitor your grips condition!
